What is the "Gateway of Tally" in Tally / Tally.ERP9?

Gateway of Tally is a main screen available in Tally, which loads on selection of a Company. Gateway of Tally is the one and only gate to "Enter-in" into a company or to "Quit / Exit-out" of a company, unlike other PC/ desktop applications, where the user can close the application from any screen by pressing "X" Close button Icon available in the right Top Corner. In Tally one should come back till Gateway of Tally, to come out of the Company / Tally application, as the "X" Close button Icon is made inactivate intentionally to avoid data errors and projecting inaccurate reports.


Note:- To come out of any screen in Tally. Use [ ESC ] Key, available in a Left top corner in Keyboard.
