Notes in Tally.ERP9 Ledger Master, is an additional information about the Ledger, it is an user defined / open filed, where user can note any info. about the Ledger which is used to refer in future point of time.
Following is the steps to enable notes for Ledger Master in Tally.ERP9
Under Ledger Creation / Alteration screen, Press F12 and Ledger Configuration screen enable the parameter "Add notes to ledger accounts" and accept the screen. Refer Figure 0.1

Now a new filed for Notes opens in Ledger Creation / Alteration screen. User can note any information which he feels important. Refer Figure 0.2
